A picture that connects with the text is an image of Harry Houdini with his wife, Wilhelmina Beatrice Rahner, better known as Bess Houdini sitting beside each other. It fits into text, because through this picture I am able to see that both Harry Houdini and Bess had a special connection with each other and understood one another. Bess, like, Houdini was a performer. She was part of a dance act called the Floral Sisters, performing in Coney Island. Bess later on became Houdini's stage assistant. This picture stands out to me, because Houdini and Bess formed their own group, called "The Houdinis" and began to perform together. The first show that Bess participated in with Houdini was named, "Metamorphosis". "Metamorphosis" became the most famous trick that the duo had performed, because it was completed within three seconds. This picture is important, because Houdini and Bess were together since they were very young, married a month later after their meet, and never defied or resented one another. They were dedicated to each other, and if one passed away before his or her time, they vowed to communicate with each other through several methods. They even created a coded message on which only the couple knew; and it was through that message Bess knew if Houdini communicated with her. Harry Houdini and Bess shared a unique connection and loved one another until one's passing.
