This particular image strikes me because there is a massive crocodile, which was named "Agro", being fed by Steve Irwin. It is striking from its mass and its beauty, I have honestly never seen a animal, a cold blooded animal and called it beautiful, because usually they look disgusting and extremely hideous. Agro is different, Agro was one that could not give up, other than the Old Black Legend. This image is important in many ways, it shows the reader clearly how talented Steve is or how professionally he can handle a giant monster crocodile like Agro. It is also important because it tells me that he really loves his crocodiles the way he would love his kids, crocodiles are his life and have taught him many lessons, along with why or how you should respect these animals because they do not differ from humans as much as we think they do. Covering their heads is a major aspect in relocating or crocodile hunting because that helps the crocodile with his/her stress, the dark covers allow them to relax and that shows us that he cares and so do others that catch crocodiles for their relocation and their own safety. This image adds to the text because it symbolizes his passion and love for the animals in general. The reason why it symbolizes the passion and love for crocodiles and in this situation, Agro, is because he feeds him and he uses Agro as a perfect example to teach others how dangerous they are. During the catch of Agro, Steve struggled so much and was in a lot of pain, when he caught him Steve would always say that it seemed as though Agro never forgave Steve for bringing him to the park. Here is a quote from the book, " Agro by name and by nature. To this day, this particular crocodile commands a lot of respect. He's never forgiven me for catching him and every day at home in the park he tries relentlessly to even the score. I have the utmost respect for him as he's nearly got me on numerous occasions. He's killed two lawnmowers, a brush hook, a shovel, my shoe, and my hat in his quest to remove me from his territory. I understand his territorialism and try hard not to upset him, but if he sees, hears, or smells me he'll submerge and poise for an ambush." That also symbolizes the main aspect of Steve's respect towards the animals he catches and preserves, but also takes very good care of them.
