In the book Unbelievable The Life Death and Afterlife of the Notorious B.I.G , the topic of unsafe neighborhoods and dangerous environments were discussed because Christopher Wallace grew up in a neighborhood of that sort. In the book they call it the "hood". The topics discussed in this book affect me because our school is located very close to a hood, about a block or two away from it. As a student, and as a human being, I feel unsafe if I start heading down to those streets. The area I actually live in has no contact of such sort, but my family choosing to send me to Alex Pilibos has the affect on me. The subject of can a mother trust her son/daughter in a neighborhood like that also was discussed in the book. The mother of Christopher Wallace trusted her son, but he turned out the complete opposite of what she wanted him to become. In my opinion, mothers still should trust their sons/daughters in environments like that because for example I attend a private Armenian school, where it teaches me not to get involved in areas and people like that. These topics affect me daily because I am at Pilibos five times a week and safety is the most important thing.
